There are two different sets of wiring depending on year and model of bike, need to know both those before answering

You need to fit the close cable first then the open

Try it see what happens, 99.9% certain petrol will piss out of the unconnected spigot, as to the electrickery take two leads from a battery pos and connect one to the neg via a bulb then connect the other direct to the negvand see if the bulb stays lit! Always takes path of least resistance

Fuel is like water and electrickery it will take the path of least resistance, when the 2 carbs fed by one pipe fill up the others start, when all full flow evens

Both should flow on normal and reserve, as said block the one that flows and see if fuel flows from the other

They can but by christ the primary rattles if the carbs are slightly out, i always used900 to 1000

The bottom stays the bottom but the left and right swop, it means the screw swops holes and the stem has the screw at rear instead of front

No, still the nut on inside the bolt moves from front to back or vice versa

Correct with original but you can fit the bracket the other way round so one screw is at front the other at rear and trawling the 4 into 1 web site i saw pattern brackets and rubbers available
