Hi diddly ho, Honda reeno's
« on: November 19, 2024, 10:47:56 AM »
Just joined a few days ago, in my search for a suitable steed.

Hampshire, UK based, 53 (is that young on here ?)  ;D Looking to add to my stable of riders, not show'ers

Bikes I own;

2006 HD Street Bob custom
2019 Husqvarna FE350
2023 BMW C400X
1981 Honda Caren Deluxe x 2 (yep - 2 of those bad boys)

Just sold a 2022 Kawasaki Z900RS SE. The second Z900RS I've owned, but just didn't use it. So I got the BMW scoot for sunny days to work.

I have had a hankering for a CB750 for many years, and my pal just bought an old 50's BSA, which has spurned me on, to get another classic, having also just sold my 1981 Yamaha RD350LC
However, as nice as my mate's BSA is, I don't enjoy mopping up oil, and I like my bikes to start now and again, so I'm on the hunt for something to ride on nice days. Not a show bike, or purely an investment, but not a fixer upper either

If it's ok to put a wanted ad in here, I'll do that, but thought an intro first would be more polite :)

Guy

Welcome to the forum, hopefully it'll help in identifying a good example of 750, whether from here or general sale.

I like them at all stages of use and condition, really were a fundamental shift in direction for motorcycles in general, the 750 that is.

It seems to be a buyers market at the moment so you should be able to buy at the right price for the condition, in reality prices have taken a fair tumble as the year has progressed.

Welcome to the forum Guy.
A good time of year to be buying a bike, its a buyers market more than ever considering the weather and the way prices have taken a hammering over the previous 3-4 months. There are some bargains out there and especially at the auctions.
