I would have fitted a 27deg angled banjo there, or maybe a straight fitting with 90deg swivel end on the hose

The SS 13 mm  pipe clip is one I've had for a few years that was too big for the job I bought it for.
I ended up using a similar pair of 10mm ones - can't remember what the jb was now.

I'll google a 27 deg banjo and see what one looks like, is it an angled fitting for the pipe itself?

Looks a lot better!

Nb You seem to be missing the rubber covers that stop muck getting into the fork slider seal.

Ted go to fleabay and type in an3 brake pipe fittings to see a lot of the types you can get mate

It had split gaiters fitted to hide some pitting, I've cut them off. No fork stanchion drain holes fitted to my model. It will get a fork rebuild, am hoping it does not need Hard Chroming.
