2024 triumph street triple rs
« on: August 23, 2024, 01:04:44 PM »
My 2019 speed triple was picked up by the superbike factory, agreed price paid with no quibbling, money paid instantly into the account £1300 more than my local triumph dealer offered.
Placed an order for a new street RS,hopefully early September delivery.:-)

Good result.
When I took my Triumph Sprint 1050 to the dealer I purchased it from they offered me peanuts, they only want to sell new bikes.
Good luck with the new bike.

I did too Julie, but unfortunately they don't do the RS in Crystal white,
I adore the speed triple but made the mistake of taking out the Street when I was in getting the bike it's Mot,,it was love as soon as I moved off, everything just felt right,, and the quickshifter works seamlessly, I didn't get it until I tried it.weather permitting I'm even getting the train to staffordshire triumph and riding it back to Scotland, that's me done my yearly mileage in one go :-)

Quick update, Staffordshire triumph messed up,ended up getting deposit returned. The my back went out,had a rethink and thought, is this my body telling me it's time for a different style of bike,a wee bit more comfortable. Took a test ride on a new Triumph Tiger GT PRO,,instantly smitten, upshot is I'm driving though to Edinburgh Triumph tomorrow to sign the paperwork, picking up the bike on 2nd October. Shame Glasgow Triumph couldn't get back to me with a decent deal for cash,Graphite and Black one it is,they even threw in a free set of crash bars,:-)

I test rode the same model at bulldog triumph in Reading. I ended up with a brand new pre registered Tiger 850 sport with a ‘free’ set of aluminium luggage. Very different to the Speedmaster I had before but no chrome or polished casings to keep clean so the theory is I will ride it more as I no longer fear a bit of moisture may tarnish the bike.  Wry happy with it!

I had a GT Pro when they first came out. I picked it up from Bulldog Triumph the day before the first lockdown

It had 1.6 miles on the clock after three months.

Traded it for a smaller 660 last year as I wanted back to the 120° engine.

The back wheel looks almost devoid of spokes Steve!

I guess one is hidden by the red strap.

I’d be interested to see how Mike gets on with the (pseudo) 270° engine.

After 7 “traditional” Triumph triples (4x Sprint 955, Tiger 1050, 2x Tiger 800) I thought I’d try the cross plane 900.

Bulldog sold it to a guy who got washed away trying to cross a deep ford. The bike was written off.

Having just sold my 2nd speed triple I obviously made sure I had tried the bike thoroughly before I put pet to paper, loved it.everything felt quality. Tried the smaller triples at many open days,,really underpowered and poor switchgear and screens.ok if that's your budget, not for me .Haven't reached this age only to downgrade,,onwards and upwards  :-)
