1974 CB550 ko which exhaust?
« on: July 07, 2024, 06:17:03 PM »
Hi All
I need to purchase a new set of four pipes for my project.
Has any body purchased the Delkavic pipes?or are the DSS pipes a better option?
TIA
Mark

There’s definately a few people on here that have purchased the Delkevic set, maybe not fitted yet? I have a new set of DSS but under the bed still! There will be someone on here soon to help Mark.

I fitted a Delkevic  set to my 500 - they fitted pretty easily - easier than re-fitting my  Motad 400 system.

My right side fitted perfectly. I had to elongate one upper hole in the bracket on the left side to make it fit properly.
I don't blame Delkevic I suspect it was the rear footrest/ hanger bracket that was slightly out.

This is a neat 500 restoration in the USA.
